ESL with Charlene

I am an experienced tutor, with close to three years' experience tutoring ESL students online.  I have met over 2000 students from all over the world and have over 70,000 minutes of talk time.  While I do not have a formal teaching certificate, I have an advanced degree (Juris Doctor, law degree).   

This is not my full time job, this is something I do in the evenings.  I started tutoring online and I enjoy meeting students from across the world. Availability will generally be from 9PM US Eastern to 11PM during the week and 7pm to 11pm on weekends.

Rate: $25/hr.  All purchases must be made in advance of lessons.

Standard Class Length:  30 minutes per class, conducted online via Google Meet.  While a Google/gmail account is not necessary to be able to use the service, it is much easier to share files and conduct meetings with Google accounts.

Payment Methods:  Credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, Link.  I will send an invoice with payment links when the time is agreed.

Late Cancellation Fee: 
Cancellation of a reserved class with less than 4 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee of $10 unless the reservation was made with less than 4 hours’ notice.  I ask for at least 24 hours before scheduling appointments.  That will be reflected in reduced class time on a future lesson.

No refunds for unused time.  No refunds will be given in the event of improper behavior by the student toward the tutor, such as verbal abuse, threats of violence, stalking, intimidation, sexual impropriety, sexual harassment, adult/sexual displays, and otherwise unprofessional behavior from the student.  Criminal activity will be reported to local law enforcement.
